I need to better myself.
I realize I need to make a change, and definitely for my sake. I feel like I am turning into my mom, which in this aspect is a nightmare. I have been with my boyfriend for 2 and 1/2 years.Jealousy issues
I am having some issues with my boyfriend. He is extremely jealous even though I've never given him any reason that I want to be with someone else. I don't flirt with other people, I don't ever hang out with other people unless he's with me (I honestly don't have any desire to), I'm pretty busy anyways so really, no time to go out.Just a nerd, or inappropriate?
My bf is a pretty big nerd. He likes computer games and plays X-box/live a lot. On the other hand I HATE video games in general (so I might be unfairly biased).It's Stupid, But I Can't Get Over It

For the past six years I have celebrated New Year's Eve abroad. This year, in an attempt to save money, I decided to stay at home. My siblings and the majority of my friends will be traveling to exotic and exciting locations after Christmas and I currently have a horrible case of travel envy!

Me and my b/f have been together for 3 years and yes we have had lots of problems due to my jealousy issues, etc (which by the way you guys advised me to work on or lose my man).....anyway we have been working through things and I THOUGHT we were doing great, in fact just today we spoke on phone twice (once for over an hour) AND we got together to watch a film.............THEN through some snooping (yes I checked his email, don't crucify me) I saw he wrote a draft mail TODAY to another girl saying he wishes she would see him as more than a friend and how his heart soars when he sees her and crashes cause she isn't his (then he went on to say in it that he can't send this mail and wishes he could- and I know he didn't send it cause there is no copy in his sent mail, only draft).....needless to say I am stunned, hurt beyond belief and do not know at all why he is doing this and why he is telling me he is mine, that he loves me, that we will be fine, and all that jazz. Did I DRIVE him to this by how bad I have treated him? HE is the one who told me he loves me and is standing by me, etc and has spent the whole day telling me this (and all week).Am I too Jealous?.. over reacting and pushing my boyfriend away?

Lately I find myself snappy and irritated when others announce their engagements or marriages. My boyfriend's sister recently got married and purchased a new home — I couldn't have been happier when the whole hoopla was over. I have already been to four weddings this summer!
