Friendship after breaking up
My boyfriend of just over a year and I have recently broken up. It was his decision (I was dumped, essentially), but now that it is over, I can see that I wasn't as happy as I convinced myself I was. I think I was mostly holding on because I am afraid to be alone.Friends don't last for ever :(
Well I feel I'm losing the person who I thought was my best friend for around 3 years, every time I tried to make plans with her she says she is to busy that she'll get back to me. I give her enough space because I don't like to suffocate my friends. But I feel that things are done only when she feels is the right time, and I got tired of running her scheduled, why can't I do things when I request them.Friends...
I understand that not everyone thinks that girls and guys can be friends, and I've excepted that I've lost one of my closest guy friends because of this (his girlfriend is against it). I thought that was the end of it... But when our group of friends are out together this couple makes it quite difficult and the last thing I want is for our mutual friends to suffer because of it, some are already telling me what the couple says about me.Not sure what to think
Over the past year, one of my guy friends has dropped a lot of “hints” that he would like for us to get together, but then I won’t hear from him for weeks or months on end. I don’t know what to think of it. For example, I got my hair cut short a few weeks ago and when he saw it he said, “It’s nice to feel the summer breeze on your neck,” which was something I had written to him in an email over a year ago when I last got it cut short.Feel like I am loosing my best friend
I am currently 9 months pregnant and very excited, me and my boyfriend are not married but I am ok with that and so are my friends and family ( I am currently 27 have a great job my own place etc.) . We had known each other for four years and did many things together (go out to eat, shopping, etc).
