Time to come clean to my boyfriend and I want advice

About a year into our relationship I started to get annoyed after still finding reminders of his exes all over the place: pictures of them in his room, pictures on his computer of them in his bed, wearing underwear, old notes he'd saved from them that were lying around, songs or poems he'd written for them in random notebooks... He says he needs some space...

Mar 17, 2010 - I have been with my boyfriend on and off for about a year and a half.  We've had a lot of good times and some bad.  We decided to start completely over, start fresh and forget the past, the end of last summer.  Since getting back together we have had an amazing relationship. We have always been able to talk about anything with each other.  We always had fun in whatever we did.  We had that best friend type of relationship.  Or so I thought.  He recently was acting weird.  It seemed he was spending more time away from home, not wanting to be here, around me, or my son.  I noticed the change in behavior and told him I think we should talk (6 days ago).  He called and I asked him what is wrong bc it seemed something had been bothering him.  He proceeded to tell me that he is frustrated I don't have a job and that we can barely save money (I worked for Circuit city for  a long while and am now collecting unemployment due to them going out of business.  That is also where we met).  We live together and I pay bills the same as he does, I just don't bring as much home with my unemployment.  But I also don't just sit around and do nothing all day.  I apply for jobs, do the laundry, the dishes, cook, clean, take out the trash and whatever else may need done.  He says he's mad I only apply for jobs online. I also want to go to school to get a degree and better our financial situation for the future but he doesn't support me in that whatsoever. - 5 Comments
