Like I was thinking of different ways to kill the dress. It seemed like poison wouldn't work and a gun would just be a little over the top. After careful consideration I decided the guillotine would do the trick.

It's a cute dress - I'm not knocking it.

If anything, blame my boyfriend for making bad puns all the time and rubbing off on me.

I highly doubt that's the actual dress. Once I posted a question and Team Sugar put an Asian woman's picture next to it, so everyone assumed I was Asian . . .

So in case it´s not the dress it`s not going to be very useful. Anyway why has someone post something like that as a Therapy Group?

that actually is a betsey johnson dress, though...

i would keep your shoes and bag simple and elegant, probably in a shiny black fabric (satin?). the dress is powerful on its own--you don't want to go crazy!

make sure you pick earrings OR necklace with this dress, and i would skip the bracelets altogether.

I like the black ankle-strap heels the model has on, though I tend to favour closed-toes, especially if you're wanting someone to focus on your face or dress. I don't mean full on pumps, necessarily, but a nice sandal with a closed toe, no sides, and ankle strap could be very classy. I think a nice, close fitting necklace (not necessarily a choker, but something that doesn't dangle down on the middle of your chest) and a smaller pair of earrings that the ones used in the photo or possibly some small-to-barely-medium dangles instead of the hoops could look nice and also draw more attention to your face. A black clutch would be good. I dunno about bracelets, but I've never been a big bracelet wearer, so take that for what it's worth)

Oh, Luisamapacha, are you meaning that you don't think that the pic is of the actual, physical dress the poster bought (meaning that its also no her in the pic?) or are you trying to say you don't think that she really got a dress exactly like the one in the picture? Cuz I'd agree that the photo looks like a model showing a dress for, like, a catalog or other advertising, but I do believe that the picture is of the actual style and colour of dress that the poster is asking for help with.

The model is so skinny she looks like shes walking on her hands.

I'd go with black peep toe pumps. You're purse or clutch should coordinate with your shoes. and make your jewelry understated. Make your hair bold. not Crazy, but I'd go with a great high pony tail with lots of curls.

That dress means the focus should be on THAT dress. cuz it's a bold look, so your make up should be neutral, and natural looking.

I wore something really similar to my prom last week, so here's what I did. After trying on millions of strappy sandals, I realized that a pair of killer black pumps were the perfect accompaniment, for several reasons: more comfortable than sandals, they didn't compete with my dress, and the biggest plus, no need to get a pedicure! As for a clutch, I'd go with something simple and in black satin.

i have that dress i wore the pink clivis betsy johnson heels, a black clutch and the heart and spider web necklace from betsy johnson. my hair was down and in curls using a 1 inch barrel. my make up was just black eye liner on upper lid only and mascara but i got black rhinestones and put them over my eye liner.

oh i meant clovis heels
