I'm just curious... does anyone else HATE the smell of Axe body spray? I absolutely cannot stand it. I know a few guys who wear it (apparently they believe the commercials are true) who think that they are total chick magnets and hit on me while getting as close as possible in order to give me maximal scent saturation. This usually results in me feeling like I'm going to gag. Anyone share this view?

I like the way it smells when used sparingly. I know what you mean though. It's definately not attractive when men bathe in cologne but I do appreciate a man that smells good. Women are guilty of this too.
1lol .. i agree 100%. axe & anything alike is a total turn-off!
2yes! this was a constant cause of arguments in my home. i hate all varieties. my roommate is fooled by the advertising too and has failed to convince me that its a fragrance sent from the gods. for the longest time i got him to stop using it and my nose was thankful. unfortunately he discovered that a spray or two is a good way to keep me from biting him.
3I can't help but like the scent of the Dark Temptation one on my boyfriend after a while. When he first sprays it on it can be a bit overwhelming, but as the day progresses it smells great.
4I dunno what Axe smells like (I need to try and smell it but I fear I'll want to date and marry them Axe bottles! LOL), my hubby only wears Old Spice, thank goodness, he only wears the deodorant.

5Axe is overrated, it's just a marketing ploy. I used it at one point because I liked the smell, but never again. It's what high school/immature college kids wear. Just my opinion. Rather go with better stuff. Moves by Adidas is a better cheaper alternative. (LoL@Oldspice *never!, only cuz my dad wears it...way too much of it).
