I met a girl a few months ago at my sisters birthday party. We became best friends and we have feelings for each other. But her ex is still in the picture. She says she wants to move on and be with someone new but her and her ex just got an apartment together but they aren't in a relationship. She knows I still have feelings for her and she still has some feelings for me but I'm afraid that by them moving in together those feelings will disappear and she'll get back with her ex. Should I just let go of my feelings for her and keep our relationship at a friendship level or should I keep trying?

1I'd avoid any type of relationship with her .....period. She's handing you a line of BS and you're buying it.I'm betting that their relationship is already back on and that neither one of them are ready, or have begun to let go of their feelings for each other.Call me crazy, but the very last thing I would do is to get an apartment with my ex if I'm seriously trying to move on with my life.Besides that,who in their right mind would want to step into the middle of that situation and date either one of them once they know the whole story.I know there's no way in hell I would trust or be comfortable with it at all.
Do yourself a favor and don't waste another minute of your time on her. IMHO she's jerking your chain BIG TIME.
2Waiting for someone is a big waste. Focus on yourself. Let them come to you. Never go chasing them like a puppy.
3Agree with everybody else...not much more to say. I wouldn't go for it, especially since you don't have much invested already. Stay away from that drama filled situation.
