Okay, so I'm in a bit of a panic currently. I'm going to try and explain my situation and just asking for comments/suggestions/similiar experiences...
I have been on NuvaRing for a year up until this past month, when I was supposed to reinsert a new ring after a week long break (taken out Mon, June 8th - got period Thursday, June 11th - needed to reinsert a new ring on Monday, June 15) - However, my prescription expired and I didn't reinsert a new one until two days ago, on Friday, June 19th (when I had a gynecologist appointment and she wrote me a new prescription). I know I am protected for the 7 day ring free period; however, extending it to 11 days compromised my protection, I'm sure.
My gynecologist said to use back-up protection for 7 days until the hormones were balanced again. I used a condom Friday night. However, it broke and we were both unaware of it until realizing he had come inside of me. This may sound gross, but I tried to.. uhm, get it all out asap and clean up - but I know that this doesn't rule out the possibility of pregnancy. :-/
This mishap occurred at about 3:30AM and I took Plan B at the following 3:00PM the same day (~12 hours later).. I tried to figure out when I would most likely ovulate, but I'm unsure of my "length of cycle" due to the fact that I have been on birth control, which I was under the impression prevented ovulation. Being off of regular birth control may have caused me to ovulate though, I'm afraid...
I'm so worried.. he has never come inside of me before this time. Other times when the condoms broke, he still pulled out and we realized it then. I'm hoping that I took the pill soon enough and was just wondering if anyone here ever had scares similar to this... I'm afraid that I was ovulating recently, so the pill will have made no difference (as it says that it only prevents ovulation if it hasn't yet occurred and will not affect an already fertilized egg).
Thanks in advance...

1maybe your to young to have sex
2This is my post. I am 21 and have been in a monogamous relationship for the past 3.5 years. I know the consequences of sex; however, everyone has mishaps (i.e., the condom breaking). Please leave feedback that is meaningful and perhaps tells of a similar experience or suggestion, not simply stating I'm too* young for sex.
3Relax. You've done everything possible to try and prevent pregnancy. There is absolutely no point in freaking out. Plan B actually prevents implantation, so even if there's a fertilized egg, it won't be able to attach inside the uterus and turn into a pregnancy.
Right now, all you can do is wait and see if your period is late.
4Luisa is right, britt. I've had a scare like that myself (though with the pill, not the Nuvaring), and all you can do is wait and hope and pray that your period comes. It's completely nerve-wracking and it sucks, especially since you've lost track of your cycle, but you've taken every precaution, so now all you can do is wait. Though, honestly, given all your precautions, as long as you took both Plan B pills at the same time, the likelihood of you actually being preggers is quite low. So, cheer up! I'm sure you'll be fine and your period will come right on schedule.
5I think you're probably fine. You took Plan B in the required time. I think ovulation is usually mid-cycle, so I would guess you weren't ovulating if it was just 4 days beyond the end of your period. I know you will be worrying about this until your next period, but if it helps, I've had a condom slip off a couple of times (that was tons 'o' fun to try to get back out...) and had to use Plan B and I'm still child-free!
6I've taken plan B before and it worked..relax! : )
