Hello, I have never posted one of these before. I just need some advice... Some thoughts on what other people think of this situation. Here goes:
My husband and I are very non-traditional when it comes to Christmas gifts for each other. We have 2 kids and a huge extended family so money is tight. Every year we each decide on a budget and buy our own gifts. I have been wanting a certain pair of jeans for a long time. As soon as a promotional code was available, I jumped at the chance to buy the jeans. Unfortunately, I purchased a size too small and I sent them back for an exchange. I sent them back on 12-17-08, the same day I received them. I have been watching the site daily to make sure the jeans, in the right size, were still available. Today, 1-5-09, I received an email at around 11 AM, PST saying the jeans are out of stock and I would be credited back. That's not a huge deal, I knew that might happen. BUT, when I checked the site in the evening, they were IN STOCK. I immediately emailed the customer service department and asked them to process the exchange. I was told the only way I could have the jeans is to re-purchase them at the full price. I feel royally screwed. I have been shopping from this very popular site for 6 years! Does anyone else think this is right?

call the customer service
1First, I would respond to the email and tell them how truly disappointed you are in their service considering you are a long time customer. Then, call and explain the problem to someone in management. Don't back down. This always irritates me
Also, have you ever tried the site
retailmenot.com for promo codes? Good luck- you totally deserve to get the promotion price.
