I've been dating someone new for the last few weeks. We've been out 7 or 8 times and seem to be getting along really well. We have a lot of fun together, lots of chemistry, etc. I just left town last week to go home for the holidays but am back in town as of last night.

Before I left, I called the guy to say goodbye and he asked me to drop by his work so he could see me off in person. I did and neither of us mentioned any plans on getting together when I got back in town. Much to my chagrin, we didn't speak once over the five days I was out of town. I understand he probably didn't call because I was with my family, but I was still hoping he might have called to wish me a Merry Christmas. Anyway, I got back to work today and my boss told me that he was giving me his season ticket seats to a KU Basketball Game (big deal around here) for tomorrow night's game as a Christmas gift. There are two seats and I really want to take the guy I've been seeing but I don't want to call him since I was the last one to call him before I left town. Normally this wouldn't matter but since I didn't hear anything from him while I was out of town is it possible he has lost interest? How long should I wait before I give up? I would hate to bite the bullet and call him about the tickets just to be rejected...
