I have finally met the man I was meant to be with. We are planning to get married ASAP, but due to some circumstances, it will be April before we can get married. We both are divorced, so most Preacher will not marry us, nor allow a "Church Wedding." However, I don't want a "big event." I want an intimate ceremony, but I don't know where, or who to get to marry us...the ceremony is important to me. I love the ocean, but it is too far and probably too expensive and it might be too cold in April...
We live in driving distance to Gatlinburg, TN. They would do it, but I don't want to do anything too tacky...
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
S***r
Oh oh... I think that's very difficult to say!! But by the way congrats...
1Maybe you should take his opinion and match yours. You'll then see the possible
places you want, love, etc...
Well if you like the mountains and the outdoors I'd check out this page:

I bet the mountains will be gorgeous in April. Event coordinators at most reception sites will probably have some referrals for ministers who would be willing to do your ceremony. Good luck!
2My friend's mother remarried a few years ago.. she married in a courtyard on a local estate.. It was beautiful. A small, intimate ceremony.. outside, lots of trees.. birds chirpin.. It was warm.. but not smotheringly hot. It was short. They didn't have a preacher either.. it was a family friend who took the test online to marry them (always an option).
3Hmmm... Good and beautiful options!!
4I'd go with what you want to do.....as a pagan I LOVE the outdoors and if you love it and been married before take either the sea option, you dress for the weather as well, there is some nice coats etc or wear a coat until the ceremony?
I wish you all the best.....well done you....I have found my fella, sadly I won't be wed as I don't think after being married he wants to again and I respect him.....(Plus I'm not bothered too much about it)

Thank you all for your comments, you have no idea how much they all mean to me! I have a really really good idea now, but not sure if can do it until 3 or 5 hours from now, or who would perform the ceremony....
I'll keep you all posted! You all are appreciated!

6Thanks to everyone who posted a comment. The "official" proposal was done on Valentines, I was totally surprised! We are getting married in May. At a local location that means a lot to both of us, and we finally found someone to marry us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We actually found him in the phone book. I found the perfect dress last night and bought it, under $100...
Life Is Good!
Thanks again to everyone.
